Procedures for Golf
Before Play:- • Travelling to your golf club must be in line with present Scottish Government guidelines. These will change as we move through the phases. • If you are shielding, you should stay at home. • If you are not well or have any symptoms which could be COVID-19 related then stay at home. • You must book a tee time in advance. Do not come to the course expecting to play if you have booked a tee time. • Groups of 2, 3 or 4 players must only come from a maximum of two households. • Aim to arrive at the club no more than 15 minutes before your tee time. • Park in a way that facilitates social distancing. • Change your shoes in the car park.
During Play:- • Do not arrive at the tee more than 5 minutes before your tee time. • Remember social distancing at all times. • All bunkers are GUR at this time. • Do not enter a teeing area until the group in front are clear of it. • Do not share equipment, food or drinks during your round. • Do not use ball cleaners when playing. • The flag must not be touched and you should only remove your own ball from the hole. Any ball within 12 inches of hole should be lifted and counted as a stroke.
After your round:- • Return directly to your car, pack up and leave.
As the locker rooms are not available at this time:- • Make sure you have been to the toilet before you leave home. • Bring your own food and water with you. • Bring your own hand sanitiser and use regularly during your round.
These instructions will be updated as and when necessary due to the fluidity of the current situation.
During this phase club buggies won’t be available and visitors and signed on guests are not allowed.
