Today’s gents competition was abandoned due to the weather. The May Medal this Sunday 23rd May will now be the third Gent’s Championship qualifier, with the Joe White Shield next Thursday 27th May becoming the fourth and final qualifier. A player’s best two scratch scores are added to give their 36 hole total, and the lowest 16 scores qualify for the Championship. Players are seeded 1 v 16, 2 v 15, etc, and ties are over 18 holes Matchplay. First round losers go into the ‘B Championship’ in the same order as the Championship. More info will be provided once the qualification is complete.
