The Bob Blackett Quaich and Ladies Quaich were played for on 7th July. All the prize winners came from the home club with some excellent scores, particularly from the ladies. Gent’s Result – Winner : Willie Murray 41 pts (bih) Runner Up : Cyril Swan 41 pts Third : Drew Alexander 40 pts (bih) Fourth : Robert Potts 40 pts Fifth : Bill Gordon 39 pts. Ladies’ Result – Winner : Gill Gallacher 46 pts Runner Up : Gillian Turnbull 44 pts Third : Laura Anderson 43 pts. Club Captain Wayne Blackburn presented Gill and Willie with the Bob Blackett Quaichs and thanked all competitors for taking part.
